Guardian competition: what kind of school would YOU like?
The Guardian’s Teacher Network is running a great competition for schools called ‘The school we would like’.
It’s pretty simple. Your school thinks of an idea for a project that will improve school life for the whole school community. The idea for the project has to cost no more than £5,000, and the best idea wins!
There are primary, secondary and special school categories and an effective school council could really help you in this competition.
Obviously, effective school councils are key to success of identifying, delivering and evaluating school community projects.
That just means that as a school councillor, you can really come up with great ideas that will help lots of people in your school, and help to make them a success.
If you’d like to find out more, then head over to the Guardian Teacher Network blog for information, or you can enter here.
Good luck!
